By accessing or using the Website, or by engaging our services as a client or a candidate/work-seeker, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.

2. Who We Are and What We Do

Yourstaff Group is a recruitment company operating in the United Kingdom. We act as:

  • an employment agency, introducing work-seekers to clients for direct, permanent engagement; and
  • an employment business, supplying work-seekers to clients on a temporary basis, during which the work-seeker remains engaged by us or a relevant third party.

Separate terms of business apply to clients and to candidates and will be provided to you directly; these Website Terms apply in addition to, and do not replace, those agreements.

3. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of the Website by, any third party. You must not:

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, servers, or any systems connected to it;
  • upload or transmit any material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes the intellectual property or other rights of any person;
  • use any automated system, including “robots” or “spiders”, to access the Website other than through publicly supported interfaces; or
  • introduce viruses, trojans, worms, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Website at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

4. Accuracy of Information

We take reasonable steps to ensure the information on the Website, including job listings, is accurate and up to date. However, we do not warrant that all content is complete, accurate, or current, and vacancies may be filled, withdrawn, or amended without notice. We recommend you confirm current details with us directly before relying on any listing.

5. Registration and Applications

If you register with us as a candidate or submit a CV or application, you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate, and not misleading. We may verify information you provide, including through reference checks, right-to-work checks, and, where relevant to the role, DBS or other background checks, in accordance with applicable law.

We are not obliged to find you a work placement or guarantee any outcome from your registration or application.

6. Right to Work and Compliance Checks

In accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 and related UK immigration law, all candidates placed by Yourstaff Group must demonstrate their right to work in the UK before commencing any assignment or role. Where relevant to the sector (for example, social care, education, or healthcare), candidates will also be required to undergo appropriate safeguarding and vetting checks, including DBS checks, in line with sector regulations.

7. Fees

Our fees for clients are set out in separate terms of business agreed prior to any placement. We do not charge work-seekers a fee for finding them work, in accordance with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003, save in limited circumstances permitted by law (for example, certain fees for models or entertainers), which will always be disclosed to you in advance and in writing.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by or licensed to Yourstaff Group and is protected by UK and international copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print content for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any content without our prior written consent.

9. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Details of how we collect, use, store, and share your personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Website or submitting your details to us, you acknowledge that your data will be processed as described in that policy.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

Subject to the above, we accept no liability for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, business, or opportunity, arising from your use of the Website or reliance on any information contained on it. The Website is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of any third-party website.

12. Complaints

If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us at the details above. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and investigate them fairly in accordance with our internal complaints procedure.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or in applicable law. The current version will always be available on the Website, and continued use of the Website following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
